The twinkle is back! Hooksett’s 4th Annual Light Up The Village holiday lighting celebration will illuminate the historic village by Robie’s Country Store and Veterans Park on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 4–8 p.m. This beloved, free community event is organized by the Light Up The Village Committee, a team of dedicated residents who love Christmas and are committed to preserving and sharing the stories of our historic village and its landmarks.
This year brings exciting additions: We will be expanding the firepits and having two “Firepit Alley’s” this year for more enjoyment, the Hooksett American Legion hall will be open and serving food, a live nativity is planned at the Grange Hall, and the evening will officially begin with a community gathering at the Congregational Church and the Ceremony of Light at 4:15 p.m. If you’re craving that Hallmark-movie moment—this is it. Bridge Lighting will start at 4:50pm at Veterans Park with the Village and Tree lighting commencing at 5pm at Robie’s Country Store. Be sure to arrive at the church for 4pm to experience the entire event and take part in the community gathering and ceremony of light that you will be sure to not miss.
Don’t worry though, our Light Up The Village Classics are still around for 2025 including our famous Children’s Story Time held inside our cute and cozy Arah W Prescott Library at 5:30pm with our phenomenal elves! We also will continue to have Bluey at our event this year who will be at the Grange Hall at 10 Riverside St for the kids, and Santa and Mrs. Clause will be located at The American Legion Hall at 5 Riverside St throughout the evening. We have yet to hear from the Grinch, however he may be making a surprise appearance at Robies.
